How can I tell if a lift grille needs to be cleaned?

 

Flow monitoring method

Inlet water flow rate abnormal decline
1. If the monitoring data show a sudden drop in water intake flow (such as from 100 cubic meters / hour down to 60 cubic meters / hour), may be blocked due to the grille blockage caused by the water blocked;
2. Compare the historical flow data, if the working conditions have not changed and the flow rate continues to be lower than normal, you need to immediately check the status of the grille;

 

Liquid level difference change
1. When the liquid level difference sensor shows that the liquid level difference between the front and rear of the grille is more than 15-20 centimeters, it indicates that the blockage is serious. 
2. If there is no sensor, manually check the liquid level difference through the observation window or the access port, if it increases significantly, it needs to be cleaned up.

1. Open the access port or through the observation window to view the surface of the grille, if the debris covers more than 50% -60% of the screen area, need to be cleaned.
2. Common blockages include tree branches, plastics, fibers, etc., especially after heavy rainfall or leaf season, frequent inspections are required.

Early warning of different scenarios: Drainage areas that experience heavy rainfall, construction or garbage concentration periods should be inspected more frequently even if no obvious clogging is observed.
