Vertical inverted umbrella surface aerators are widely utilized in municipal wastewater treatment and industrial sectors, including petroleum,chemical, tanning, pharmaceutical, papermaking, food processing, and coking. The equipment is highly effective for the Activated Sludge Process,as well as river restoration and oxidation pond aeration, with specialized performance in Oxidation Ditches. Working Princinple
The unit consists of a vertical-shaft drive, adjustable base, dual-axial thrust device, high-strength coupling, and an inverted umbrella impeller. It operates by rotating the impeller to lift oxygen-deficient sludge along the conical surface, discharging it to create a hydraulic jump for rapid oxygenation. Simultaneously, it drives the mixture into a spiral circulation at a velocity of >0.3m/s, ensuring continuous liquid renewal and keeping activated sludge in full suspension.
