Structural components
grille frame: the main body is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel or carbon steel, with strong impact resistance, usually designed as a modular structure to adapt to the needs of different pool diameters.
basket components: including screen and collection basket, screen aperture customized according to the interception needs (such as 5mm gap), the bottom with legs to enhance stability, side openings to facilitate the flow of water through the top lugs and pulleys with the rail to achieve lifting and lowering operations.
lifting system: manual type is equipped with operating handle and guide bar, automatic type through the motor, wire rope / chain to achieve the lifting of the basket and debris cleaning.
Support structure: including guide rails, expansion bolts fixed bracket, etc., to ensure the stability of the equipment under the impact of water.
Working principle
When the water flow passes through the grille, solid impurities are intercepted by the screen and deposited in the carry basket. When the impurities accumulated to the amount, the operator by manual or electric means along the guide rail to lift the basket, clean up the debris after reset. The automatic version can also be programmed to start the cleaning process periodically.

Municipal and industrial wastewater treatment: intercepting floating debris in rainwater and sewage, protecting pumps and subsequent treatment equipment.
Water conservancy engineering: used in reservoirs, rivers and other scenarios to keep water bodies clean.

Advantages and disadvantages analysis
Advantages: simple structure, low maintenance cost, no chemical pollution; manual type does not require electricity and is suitable for remote areas; automatic type operates smoothly and supports large flow processing.
Limitations: manual type relies on manual operation, high load scenarios require frequent cleaning; interception efficiency is lower than crushing type grating, which is more suitable for complex impurity environment.
