Peripheral Drive Full-Bridge Suction Machine
Products Description
The ZQXN Type Peripheral Drive Full-Bridge Suction Machine (Suction Dredger) is specialized solid-liquid separation equipment designed for circular secondary clarifiers (sedimentation tanks) in wastewater treatment plants. Its core function is to scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the tank into a set of radially arranged suction pipe orifices, and then discharge it through a central pipe to facilitate sludge return or thickening and dewatering. Concurrently, it skims the floating scum on the tank surface into a scum hopper to be discharged outside the tank. The equipment primarily consists of a main beam, end beam, drive device, suction pipe system, vacuum system, draft tube, skimming device, scum hopper, central support, collector, and control cabinet.

Core Specific Selling Points
Novel Transmission for Lightweight Efficiency
The equipment utilizes a new type of transmission device that drastically simplifies on-site installation. This design makes the overall structure highly compact and significantly reduces the machine's weight, all while maintaining high operational efficiency and saving on running costs.
01
Smart Over-Torque Protection for Absolute Safety
To ensure safety in complex wastewater environments, the equipment can be fitted with an over-torque protection mechanism based on specific requirements. If the operating torque reaches a predefined safe limit due to blockages, the system automatically triggers an alarm and instantly halts the machine, preventing mechanical damage and ensuring high reliability.
02
High-Efficiency Pipe Suction System
Driven by the transmission unit, the main beam rotates, and the scraper blades guide the sludge to the suction orifices. Under the action of the liquid level, the sludge travels through the suction orifices, mud troughs, siphon pipes, and central mud tank to the sludge pit. A regulator at the top of each pipe ensures precise flow distribution control.
03
Dual Function
Synchronous Skimming: While suctioning sludge from the bottom, the floating scum on the surface is concentrated into a tapering area formed by the skimming board (rotating with the main beam) and the peripheral baffle. When the swing arm reaches the scum hopper, the scum is thoroughly scraped into it and discharged, achieving simultaneous sludge and scum processing.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What type of tanks is this suction machine primarily used for?
A1: The ZQXN Peripheral Drive Full-Bridge Suction Machine is specifically applied in "circular secondary clarifiers (sedimentation tanks)" of wastewater treatment plants. Its radial suction pipe design is perfectly suited for processes requiring rapid sludge return or thickening and dewatering.
Q2: With multiple suction pipes, how is the suction volume balanced across them?
A2: The design inherently addresses flow balance. The upper end of every single suction pipe is equipped with a dedicated "regulator". Operators can use these regulators to precisely adjust and allocate the flow rate of each pipe, ensuring uniform sludge removal across the entire bottom of the tank.
Q3: Is the equipment highly automated? Can it run unattended?
A3: Yes, the level of automation is high. In terms of electrical control, users can easily set the start, stop, and running times of the equipment. Furthermore, the system can be equipped with a PLC interface, allowing for seamless integration into the central control system for remote operation. Coupled with the over-torque auto-stop alarm, it is highly suitable for unattended operation.
