Center-Drive Single-Tube Sludge Suction Scraper

The Center-Drive Single-Tube Sludge Suction Scraper primarily consists of a drive unit, service bridge, rotating cage, suction and scraping components (scraper blades, suction pipes, sludge cylinder), and a complete scum skimming system.

Drive & Suction Mechanism: Centered on a fixed column, the drive unit rotates the scraping and suction assembly along the tank floor. The suction pipes, suspended from the support frame and connected to the central sludge cylinder, utilize the hydrostatic pressure difference (water level differential) to create a vacuum. This negative pressure draws activated sludge through the suction orifices into the collection cylinder for external discharge.

Scraping & Skimming System: Opposite the suction arm, the scraping arm utilizes bottom blades to progressively move inert sludge toward the central pit. Simultaneously, the surface skimming mechanism collects scum, which is then directed by the skimmer into the discharge hopper.

Hydrodynamic Design: The mixed liquor enters through a variable-section peripheral inlet flume, flowing uniformly into the tank via bottom distribution orifices. This configuration ensures balanced flow distribution within the secondary clarifier, allowing for simultaneous sludge settling, suction discharge, and automated scum removal.
