The optimized blade design ensures cutting capacity and service life.

Structural requirements

Each drum crusher includes: cutting blades, gaskets, shafts, drum grate, bearings and seals, side rails, base, housing, reducer and motor.

For a double-shaft design, the cutting blades and gaskets should be separated as a single piece and cannot be integrated. Two sets of independent cutting knives and gaskets are installed on two parallel shafts, overlapping alternately to achieve spiral cutting. The two rotating shafts rotate in opposite directions driven by the drive shaft.

The drum grate consists of a circle mounted on a vertical bracket and shaft. The rotating drum grate will guide all solid particles into the crushing knives rotating in opposite directions. The drums are driven by their own motors.

Independent cutting blades and gaskets: The cutting blades and gaskets are made of high-strength alloy steel, with uniform surface grinding and hardening to 45-50HRC.

Shaft: The driving and driven shafts of the crusher are made of high-strength alloy steel, quenched and tempered to meet strength requirements.

Drum grille: The drum is made of stainless steel 304 coils. The diameter of the coil is 6 mm, and the spacing between the coils is 6 mm. The material of the drum grille support frame is stainless steel 304. The drum shaft is made of stainless steel 304

Side rails: The side rails are made of A3 steel. The surface is anti-corrosive.

Base and casing: The crusher base is cast in gray cast iron. There is a guide device that guides solid particles directly into the crushing type grille while protecting the shaft liner. The upper casing is gray cast iron and the bottom is hot rolled sheet.

Reducer: The high-performance reducer is suitable for harsh environments and has a large shock absorption capacity.

Motor: IP67 submersible motor is used. The motor can be used normally when exposed to air and can also be used normally when submerged underwater. The motor is rated at 4 kW (), 220/380 Volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz. The motor service factor is 1.15. At full load, the efficiency factor is not less than 85% and the power factor is not less than 80%.

Second control system

The controller will provide independent control for the crusher. The controller is rated at 5.5 kW , 380 Volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz.

 

The controller is equipped with a three-speed selector switch of "On-Off/Reset-Auto".

In the "off/reset" position, the crusher should stop.

In the "on" position, the crusher runs.

In the "auto" position, the crusher is turned on/off by the remote controller.

The crusher will only be reset when the switch is selected to the "off/reset" position.

 

Measures

When a blockage occurs, the controller will stop the crusher in both the on/auto mode and reverse it to clear the obstruction. After the blockage is cleared, the controller will return to normal operation. If the blockage still exists, the controller automatically performs the reversal process within 30 seconds, which can be performed three times. If the blockage still exists after three reversals, the controller will cut off the power supply to the motor and start the delay and abnormal status indicator.
