1. Core oxygenation function
- Increase the dissolved oxygen content of water: The impeller hits the water surface to form water splashes, increase the dissolved oxygen content, and promote water circulation, press the surface oxygen-rich water into the bottom of the pool to diffuse, and solve the problem of hypoxia of aquaculture organisms.
- Directional oxygenation and surface coverage: It is mainly good for oxygenation of water surface and shallow water bodies, suitable for scenes with a water depth of less than 1 meter (such as shrimp and eel farming), to avoid hypoxia at the bottom caused by insufficient oxygenation capacity in deep water areas.
2. Water quality and ecological regulation
- Optimize water quality environment: The stirring of the waterwheel can accelerate the volatilization of harmful gases (such as hydrogen sulfide), allow water convection exchange, inhibit the anaerobic decomposition of organic matter at the bottom, and reduce the risk of accumulation of toxic substances.
- Assisted water grass synergistic purification: In some scenes, it is used in conjunction with water grass planted in the water to enhance the efficiency of water grass in absorbing pollutants through water circulation, and further improve the stability of water quality.

3. Water circulation and aquaculture management
- Forming directional water flow: The impeller rotates to generate continuous water flow, which meets the needs of eels and other organisms that prefer flowing water environments, while guiding residual bait and feces to gather in specific areas for easy sewage cleaning.
- Expanding the coverage of oxygenation: In ponds with a long side of more than 60 meters, installing two waterwheel aerators on the same side can enhance the water circulation effect and make up for the limitation of the single machine range (about 40 meters).
4. Applicable scenarios and efficiency advantages
- Shallow water aquaculture: Suitable for small and medium-sized ponds (1.5-4.5 acres) with a water depth of ≤1 meter, especially shrimp and crab aquaculture scenarios, with dual functions of oxygenation and water flow regulation.
- Energy saving: The 1.5kW model increases oxygen by 1.6kg/kW·h, and the design of arc bevel gear reducer can further reduce energy consumption.
5. Precautions for use
- Avoid using it alone in deep water ponds (>2 meters), otherwise it will be difficult to increase the dissolved oxygen at the bottom, which may aggravate bottom pollution;
- It is recommended to cooperate with equipment such as impeller aerators to build a coordinated oxygenation system for the upper and lower water bodies to improve the overall dissolved oxygen uniformity.
