Non-Metallic Chain And Flight Scraper
Product Description
Applicable for surface skimming and bottom sludge scraping in rectangular primary/secondary clarifiers, circular tanks, and various tank geometries.
Ideal for refineries, water, and wastewater plants to skim floating oil/scum or scrape sludge and sand in rectangular clarifiers, grit chambers, and oil- water separators.

Working Principle
The non-metallic chain and flight scraper mainly consists of a drive unit, drive/driven/tensioning sprockets, traction chains, scraper flights, support brackets, and an electrical control box.
Equipped with two parallel closed-loop chains and multiple flights, it is pulled by the drive unit along a rectangular path. This slow continuous circulation skims surface oil and scum into a collection pipe, and scrapes bottom sludge and sand into a hopper for discharge, effectively achieving primary wastewater purification.
Using Information
1.Apply proper lubrication (oil/grease) to all drive units, reducers, chains, bearings, and moving parts.
2.After power-on, verify correct motor rotation direction and wiring. Adjust immediately if necessary.
3.Clear all construction debris and foreign objects from the clarifier tank.
4.Before filling water, run the scraper dry multiple times to ensure the drive mechanism operates normally.
5.During dry runs, ensure the flights do not hit the walls. Fill the tank only after confirming smooth operation.
6.Perform a wet test run at the design water level. If it operates smoothly, the equipment is ready for normal service.
