Rotating Sieve Drum
Working principle
The rotating cleaning net cylinder makes a circular motion of 5~8r/min at an angle of 35° in the water, and 1/3 of the net cylinder is immersed in the water. Sewage and floating objects enter the net cylinder from the lower opening of the net cylinder, and floating objects are attached to the inner wall of the net cylinder and taken out of the water. When the net cylinder rotates to the highest point, impurities fall into the garbage conveying system due to gravity and are conveyed and squeezed to the discharge port. The filtered sewage flows away through the gap of the net cylinder.
Features and applications
Ordinary screens generally need to be equipped with screw conveyors (pressing machines), while rotary drum screen machines integrate cleaning, squeezing and conveying, and the energy utilization rate reduces management investment.
Drum screen cleaning machine has a fixed net cylinder gap, so it can clean the dirt, overcome the defect of the ordinary rake tooth screen gap movement, and the cleaning efficiency is above 95%. All the fixed components of the net cylinder are cut by water jet cutting, which will not cause deformation during the cutting process, ensuring the cutting accuracy. After the splicing is completed, the whole is lathe-machined to ensure the concentricity of the net cylinder, ensure the reliable operation of the net cylinder, and extend the service life. The rotation power of the conveying and pressing device and the rotation power of the net cylinder are provided by the same reducer, which has a compact structure and reduces energy consumption. The spiral blades are drawn from 6mm stainless steel 304. The pitch gradually decreases from bottom to top, and the pressing capacity gradually increases.
Control system
The control system is optional or self-prepared by the user and can be used by connecting the power cord on site.
The on-site electric control box adopts the local start and stop control button. The on-site electric control box is equipped with the start and stop buttons of the equipment. The signal lights are all energy-saving. The electric control box has a remote control interface. This electric control box adopts a stainless steel shell and is rainproof outdoors.

The rotary drum mechanical screen, also known as a fine screen filter or a spiral screen machine, is a device that integrates a fine screen dirt remover, a screen residue spiral elevator, and a screen residue spiral press. It is an ideal device for separating and removing floating substances, sedimentation substances, and suspended substances in the water during the treatment of urban sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater. It is widely used in solid-liquid separation, filter residue cleaning, transmission, and squeezing and dehydration in urban domestic sewage plants and industrial wastewater treatment projects.
Working Principle
The rotary drum mechanical screen is made of screen sheets according to the screen gap to form a drum-shaped screen basket. The water to be treated flows in from the front of the screen basket, is filtered through the screen, and flows to the outlet of the pool. The screen residue is retained on the screen surface. When the water level difference inside and outside the screen reaches the value, the rotating tooth rake installed on the central axis rotates to clean the dirt. When the cleaning tooth rake collects the dirt to the top of the screen basket, it starts to unload the residue (the screen residue that can fall by its own weight is unloaded into the screen residue trough); every time it rotates back 15°, the screen residue adhering to the rake teeth is automatically scraped off by the screen basket cleaning tooth plate and unloaded into the screen residue trough. The screen residue is lifted by the screw conveyor at the bottom of the trough, or transported out of the garbage truck. The solid content of the filter residue after being squeezed and dehydrated can reach 25%-45%, which plays an important role in reducing the cost of external transportation and preventing secondary pollution.
