How To Fix Stainless Steel Submersible Mixer

In the process of water treatment, the stainless steel submersible agitator can meet the process requirements of solid liquid two-phase and solid liquid gas three-phase in the biochemical process to obtain homogenization and fluidity. It is composed of submersible motor, impeller, shield, installation system and other components. The main function of the submersible agitator is mixing, so the most important structural accessory of the equipment is the impeller blade.

The main factors affecting the hydraulic performance of the mixer are the shape, size and placement angle of the impeller. Generally, stainless steel submersible mixers use a three blade swept back impeller. The impeller can provide a proper shear cycle ratio for the reaction according to the different shear and cycle requirements of the reaction materials.

For this type of impeller, it can be slightly optimized to produce axial flow. Hyperbolic shield can be used for the optimal design of mixer impeller, mainly because the inflow of any mixer impeller is mainly axial movement. In order to reduce the loss caused by changing the flow direction and wing tip vortex, fairing can be used and developed. The shield has proper hydraulic design, and the flow deflection can be improved by controlling the inflow mode.

Screw connection mode: the impeller is fixed on the shaft by screws, with a sealing gasket in the middle. When the shaft is circular, it is mainly because the sliding friction between the impeller and the shaft makes the blade rotate. The disassembly is convenient and fast, but when the power is high, it is easy to cause drag, so only low power fields can be used.

Key fixing method: the blade is welded on the coupling, and the middle pin of the coupling and shaft is fixed by the key. It is widely used to get rid of shortcomings and facilitate mixing more effectively. The stainless steel submersible mixer has several rows of impellers, and each row has two or four upper impellers. The adjacent two rows of impellers should be perpendicular to each other to improve the mixing efficiency.
