WLS Shaftless Screw Conveyor

The shaftless screw conveyor is usually applied to the inlet pump houses of sewage treatment plants, water intakes of waterworks, rainwater pumping stations in various cities and other places. It is mainly used in conjunction with grille decontaminators and sludge dewatering rooms to convey grille residue, sludge cake and other materials, and can also be used to convey granular solids.

The WLS-type shaftless screw conveyor consists of a shaftless screw, a U-shaped trough, a lining plate, a cover plate, feed and discharge ports and a driving device. Materials are input from the feed port and output from the discharge port after being pushed by the screw.

Under the rated diameter, pitch and rotational speed, the conveying capacity of the shaftless screw is related to the specific gravity of materials as well as the conveying distance and height.
