Classification by structure
- Single pump single control type: a single metering box with a metering pump, suitable for small flow, a single agent scene.
- Dual-pump combination: two pumps are standby for each other (e.g. dual-pump single-control, triple-pump dual-control), stabilized dosing is realized through frequency control system, suitable for industrial scenes requiring high reliability (e.g. power plant, chemical industry).
- Multi-pump linkage type: multiple pumps work together to support the mixing of a variety of chemicals in proportion to the complex process (such as ore dressing flotation, boiler water treatment).
Classification by type of agent
- Flocculant/PAC type: For water treatment scenarios, equipped with corrosion-resistant piping and high-precision sensors, such as pH-adjusting dosing units.
- Scale inhibitor/corrosion inhibitor type: in industrial circulating water system, need to be adapted to high-pressure, high-temperature environment.
- Agricultural/farming type: support intelligent proportion mixing of chemicals and water, such as Taifeng TF5 doser.
Classification By Control Mode
- Timing and dosing type: through the solenoid valve or metering pump according to the preset cycle dosage, suitable for fixed working conditions.
- Feedback adjustment type: based on the sensor real-time data to dynamically adjust the dosage, suitable for water quality fluctuations in the scene.
- Proportional mixing: automatically adjust the proportion of chemicals and media, commonly used in agricultural fertilization or breeding.

Define industry and process requirements
- Industrial areas (such as power plants, chemical industry) need to pay attention to pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, first choose stainless steel and multi-pump redundancy design.
- Agricultural/farming scenarios need to focus on proportional mixing accuracy and environmental suitability (e.g. humidity, temperature).
Matching system parameters
- Dosing volume: Select the flow rate of metering pump (e.g. 0.5-1000 L/h) and the volume of solution tank (e.g. 1m³ standard or customized) according to the total amount of solution to be dosed.
- Precision requirements: high-precision scenarios (such as the electronics industry) need to choose the metering pump error <1% of the model, and configure the flow meter feedback control.
Material and agent compatibility
- The corrosiveness of the agent (e.g. strong acid, strong alkali) determines the choice of material, such as stainless steel, PVC or rubber-lined piping.
- Need to provide the pharmaceutical parameters (concentration, density, viscosity) to adapt to the pump type (such as peristaltic pumps, centrifugal pumps).
Control Methods and Scalability
- Automatic feedback control is recommended for complex working conditions (e.g., variable frequency regulation + sensor linkage), and timing mode can be selected for simple scenarios.
